Road Map

Spring Layout is currently in early stable beta 0.7 the following feature list is planned for implementation over the coming period:

• Ajax enabled type ahead control
• Datagrid extended to allow multiple additions without posting - Complete in 0.7.4
• Increased terseness in xml for form, field, and validation definitions
• Javascript validation hooks
• Increase the number of default validation rules
• Solution for dynamic generation of objects when nested paths are encountered during binding. This would be most useful in the context of the data grid.
• Datagrid should also support removing objects from collections transparently.
• Try encapsulating the scoping and persistence of multi-panel command objects into an object that takes away some of the boilerplate code and gives it a lifecycle.
